PhD in Physics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto (FCUP) in 2012. Mariana is an Assitant Professor at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid since 2018, having specialized in the fabrication and characterization of metallic and insulator micro- and nano-materials by electrodeposition and sol-gel methods.
